Derived from the Latin recordis—to pass through the heart again—this series explores memory and portraiture as metaphysical portals. In dialogue with the Latin American modernist tradition of Fernando de Szyszlo, dense materiality and shadows become a ceremonial territory to reconstruct identity and emotional traces.
